Description of RMC Engagement/Service Provided
Management Consulting
RMC prepared and submitted its SBA 8(a) application, satisfying all the requirements of the Small Business Administration. After its review, the SBA denied the firm its 8(a) certification, based on affiliation issues associated with its relationship prime contractor, who was also the owners former employer.
Successful Outcome
RMC wrote and extensive appeal letter on behalf of our client, outlining that based on the rules concerning affiliation as outlined in 13 CFR 121.103, this firm was not affiliated with the prime contractor. After several clarification exchanges between the SBA, the firm was approved as an 8(a) certified company.
